I AM A CAVE PERSON

In a region dizzy with moss and an abnormal abundance of lichen species, a study was launched in a small Pacific Northwest microclimate by a group of experimental Lichenologists hailing from a branch of the Mycology department at UW, Olympic Peninsula Research Lab. The purpose of this study was to gather and process materials and information in support of a projected hypothesis of elevated rates of decomposition in organic matter within this small region where 2 mountain watersheds merge. In the midst of waterfalls and fog a small team was inaugurated as the Trinity Watershed Research Unit
